My name is Magdalena.  I am a writer, a photographer, a wife and a mom … and I am a bluestocking .  I am indeed a woman having “intellectual or literary interests” and I love to pursue them both while photographing my piece of the world one captured moment at a time.  I am a stay-at-home-mom, I homeschool and love to spend time with my kids.

I am an introverted extrovert or is that an extroverted introvert?   I love being at home but I love getting out into my community and my surroundings and getting recharged and inspired by all the wonderful experiences that lay just outside my door. Though there is nothing so lovely as bringing all that inspiration back to the coziness of my own home and making sense of it from here.

I am The BlueStocking @ Home.   I cherish the beauty and solace of my quiet inner life, my role in the home and the joy I have in raising my children, but these roles have always been coloured and influenced by my love of literature, photography, art, culture, and naturally, a fine meal here and there.  I welcome you to join me as I traverse the intellectual, the literary, the cultural, the culinary and perhaps most importantly, the simple everyday moments that simultaneously shape our lives in both the most subtle and profound ways.
